Not a day goes by that someone doesn't ask me
any one of the following questions:
- How do I market my business?
- What kind of advertising should I use?
- How much should I spend?
- How quickly can I make (fill in the
blank)?
- Should I sell widgets or should I sell
gadgets?
What is interesting is that there is no pat
answer for any of those questions. Your online success
is measured by your willingness to take a chance. And,
once you take that chance. . .never quit.
Maybe you have heard the phrase, "success is
not a destination, it's a journey." The interesting
thing about that journey is that you get to be your own travel
agent. It's entirely up to you if you wish to take the
"scenic" route or if you choose to take a more direct
approach.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you
create your own success. And, you won't reach
that pinnacle alone. Take time to develop relationships
with your customers as well as your mentors.
